Weldon City Schools will be hosting their first Virtual Career Fair on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Registration is now open!! Please be sure to click on the Weldon City Schools Job Vacancies link to view a list of WCS job openings. Complete the registration, upload your resume, and the final future step is to be scheduled for a virtual interview with our Principals and Directors for the position(s) you are interested in.

Weldon City Schools 2022 Technology Summer NCBCE Interns

The Technology Department is excited to have two summer interns through the NCBCE Program. NCBCE launched the Tech Team Program that allows students to get credentials for what they learned. The interns are assisting the Technology Department with various technical tasks. WCS will provide the summer interns with the tools they need to repair computers, and printers, troubleshooting help desk tickets, etc. The Technology Director, LaMeika P. Gupton, and Technology Technician, Daniel Williams was excited to receive the news from Ms. Robin Davis, CTE Specialist about getting two summer interns. Welcome aboard Jyrelle Britt and Azavyon Stephenson!

Woodmen American History Award

Congratulations to student-athlete E'Zuri Reid for receiving the Woodmen American History Award. E'Zuri earned the highest average in her American History class.

Social Worker Earns MSW

Congratulations to our district social worker, Ms. April Whitaker, on her graduation! She earned a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University.

School Lunch Hero Day
