Pandemic P-EBT Program

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program helps families purchase food for children whose access to free or reduced-priced meals at school has been impacted by COVID-19 because students are learning virtually, outside of brick-and-mortar schools. P-EBT is a collaboration between the NC Department of Health and Human Services and the NC Department of Public Instruction.


North Carolina State lawmakers are proposing a bill that would require an option for K-12 face to face instruction to students if passed. Weldon City Schools is collecting information for providing a continuation of quality instructional opportunities for all of our scholars.

This REQUIRED Registration Form is for our families to express their instructional delivery preference.

Chromebook/device collection

All devices (Chromebooks, chargers, and hot spots) must be checked back in to the media center--even if damaged. Device drop off begins Monday, May 3 and runs until May 17. Contact Ms. Pierce at 252-536-4829 with any questions or concerns.

2020 1A Lady Chargers Basketball Co-Champions Ring Ceremony

Since March 2020, the pandemic has prevented traditional gatherings and celebrations. In November the 2020 1A Lady Chargers Basketball Co-Champions received their Championship Rings. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and CDC restrictions, the ladies received their Championship Rings and appreciation gifts from coaches and district and local administrators privately.
