Weldon STEM High School has partnered with ADDO/Chick-fil-a to offer students a leadership curriculum to promote leaders to be the best they can be.

hundreds of local communities Across America have been positively impacted by the thousands of students teachers and schools who have participated in Chick-fil-A leader Academy the world needs leaders who impact their Lo Community We Believe high school students are the answer Chick-fil-A leader Academy is a National High School leadership program focused on impact through action which is Latin for inspire is the leadership is see who created Chick-fil-A leader Academy in partnership with Chick-fil-A to bring a Fresh Approach to leadership that empowers young people to make a difference through an Innovative engage expose equip approach Chick-fil-A Academy involves 30 students at each School in a 7-month curriculum where they learn valuable Leadership Lessons culminating in a student planned and led impact project our goal is for students to not just learn about leadership but to live it out to make a difference in their communities and make an impact through action who does start the year with an event that kick off the program from there they attend monthly leader Labs where they grow by learn leadership principles through the course of the year they will apply these principles as they execute to service project and the large end-of-year impact project play the end of your impact project students get to use their own car activity to implement a service project that they designed to meet the needs of their Community some examples of past impact projects include a family fun day for foster care children and their families and if during local First Responders and a 5K race to raise money for a local charity you may be asking yourself will this all sounds exciting but what does it look like to get my school involved in Chick-fil-A leader Academy thanks to the generosity of local Chick-fil-A restaurant owner operators the program costs are fully sponsor making it free for Selective schools we ask one thing of school to commit to participate select one or more teachers who are passionate about leadership and will be willing to invest 1 and 1/2 hours of their time once per month to facilitate the leader lab curriculum the curriculum is video-based and turn key for teachers requiring no lesson planning to make it is easiest because we know it's really The Passion of Educators that make this program successful in the school graduate from the program is Chick-fil-A leader Academy Scholars teachers receive a certificate and school benefit from partnering for a better local community all while inspiring and equipping the next generation of our nation's leaders hundreds of communities and thousands of students and teachers have already made an impact through action by starting the journey towards empowering the next generation of leaders today is your day to join the movement
